Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you create an account we collect your username, email address, and password. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, never in plain text. You may also add a name, bio, or profile picture. When you join our waitlist or request a report, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, role, and goals.

Content you submit. This includes the YouTube channel URLs you enter, product ideas and descriptions, messages you send in the product chat, and any pricing or other inputs you provide.

Public channel data. When you submit a YouTube channel, we retrieve publicly available information about it from YouTube, such as the channel name, description, images, subscriber count, and video titles and statistics. We do not ask you to sign in to YouTube and we cannot access your private YouTube account data.

Information collected automatically. We collect basic technical data needed to run the service, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, along with the cookies described below.

• To create and secure your account, including sending one-time verification and password-reset codes.
• To analyze channels, generate product concepts and mockups, and prepare ROI estimates and launch reports.
• To email you the reports you request and respond to support questions.
• To send product updates and waitlist news, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To understand how the site is used, fix problems, and prevent abuse.

Much of LaunchProd's analysis is produced automatically. To generate channel analysis, product recommendations, product mockup images, pricing and revenue estimates, and written reports, we send the relevant information (your submitted content and the public channel data described above) to third-party AI model providers, currently Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service and Google Gemini. These providers process the data to return results to us under their API terms.

We do not use your content to train our own models. Automated outputs are estimates and suggestions: they can be incomplete or inaccurate and should be reviewed before you act on them. We do not use automated processing to make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run LaunchProd, and only as needed for them to provide their services:

• Microsoft Azure: application hosting, database storage, AI models, and transactional email.
• Google (Gemini API): AI analysis and image generation.
• Vercel: website hosting and privacy-friendly usage analytics.
• Mailchimp (Intuit): waitlist and marketing emails.

If you ask us to introduce you to a supplier or manufacturer, we will share the product requirements needed for that introduction, with your agreement. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items:

• Authentication cookies keep you signed in.
• A guest identifier cookie (up to one year) lets you save ideas and results before creating an account.
• Preference storage remembers your theme, sidebar state, and pricing inputs.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

We keep account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Verification codes expire within minutes. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal, security, or accounting reasons.

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, HTTP-only session cookies, and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update profile details in your account and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

To make any other request, email support@launchprod.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

LaunchProd is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as LaunchProd evolves. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify registered users by email or in the product.
